NAC Heavy Highways has an immediate position available for a full-time Class III Water Treatment Plant Operator in the Richmond area to fulfill an extended Government contract. We offer competitive pay and benefits. Salary will be negotiated at time of hire, the starting rate begins at $29.00/Hr.
The Water Operator will work under the direction of the Water and Wastewater Operations Supervisor to manage and maintain the water treatment plant and related facilities to treat, store, and distribute potable water to all tenants. The facility has now transitioned to a new membrane filtration WTP.
Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a Kentucky Class III Water Treatment Operator’s License, or a Class II who has been working in a Class III Facility and will be eligible to test for Class III’s in a reasonable time frame, also must be able to pass a criminal background check to obtain the necessary base security clearances. The Water Operator must be a high school graduate or equivalent with substantial experience in applicable work at lower levels and demonstrate leadership qualities.
