Henderson County Water District – Henderson, KY
Henderson County Water District (HCWD) is accepting applications for a Field Crew Leader to join our operations team. We are seeking an experienced and dependable professional with strong leadership and technical skills to oversee field crews in day-to-day water system construction, maintenance, and repair activities.
Position Summary: The Field Crew Leader plans, coordinates, and supervises field operations including water main installation, leak repairs, service connections, and meter/new service installations, repairs & maintenance. This position ensures that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards and District policies.
Qualifications: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in water distribution system construction, maintenance, or equivalent public utility operations.
Prior crew leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of water distribution systems, equipment operation, and safe work practices.
Valid Kentucky driver’s license (CDL preferred).
Must be able to perform physical labor in a variety of weather conditions.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, Kentucky Division of Water Distribution System Operator Class 3 license.
