Frankfort Plant Board – Water Treatment Plant Maintenance Technician
Description:
The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will perform maintenance duties, including preventive maintenance and plumbing. Assists in the daily operation and maintenance of the water plant, including start-up and/or shut-down of plant and equipment. Performs related work as required; may assume responsible charge of plant operation; and/or may supervise operators of lower classifications.
Qualified applicants must have a high school education or equivalent, One (1) year of experience in the operation and/or maintenance of a water treatment plant or water distribution system is preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience may be considered.
Compensation will be based on qualifications/experience. We offer an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System.
