Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government – WWTP Plant Engineering Manager

Description:

Directs and manages all wastewater treatment plant capital improvements.
Develops project scopes, selects design engineers, oversees contractor selection and manages construction contracts.
Prepares, coordinates, evaluates and/or approves bids, designs, specifications, plans, contracts and estimates.
Develops and administers annual budget and project specific budgets.
Researches solutions to operational challenges.
Supervises subordinates and directs the work of consultants and vendors.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
Obtaining a Kentucky Professional Engineer License required within first 5 months of employment
