Grayson County Water District – Water Treatment Plant Operator
Description:
Grayson County Water District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operator. This position will provide efficient and quality operation and maintenance of the water treatment plant to maintain accurate records in accordance with established state and federal standards while working effectively and efficiently resulting in high morale and productivity. Applicants can also expect to work in the distribution system in multiple areas as the need may arise.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and must possess Class II-A Kentucky Division of Water Treatment Plant Operators License or higher.
Three years’ experience in water treatment system operations and maintenance required. A minimum of three years’ experience meeting and dealing with the public with experience in the utility environment is a plus.
Grayson County Water offers a competitive benefits package including a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Salary is based on qualifications and experience with a starting range between $20.69-$23.78 per hour.
